Missed Beyond Measure is the mission 13 of Main Mission.
Walkthrough
In the game Starfield, during your interstellar journey, you will be approached by Noel who will invite you to a memorial service for a fallen comrade from the Constellation faction. The mission, "Missed Beyond Measure," is not mandatory but it provides a great chance to strengthen your relationships with other characters. This mission is time-sensitive and is dependent on the in-game clock.
If you are not currently involved in any other time-sensitive missions, you should return to the Lodge, which is your primary base and home within the Constellation faction's territory. Once there, interact with your bed and choose to wait until the day of the service. This will allow you to skip the in-game time and start the mission immediately.
When you wake up, you will have 24 UT hours in-game to attend the memorial service. Be careful not to get distracted, as missing the service will result in mission failure. Leave your quarters and proceed to the main hall of the Lodge. The mood will be solemn, with characters dressed more formally than usual.
As the service commences, you will find it to be a quiet, respectful, and heartfelt event. At a certain point, you will be asked to say a few words about the deceased Constellation member. You will have several dialogue options, ranging from solemn and respectful to bitter and critical. Your choice will impact your relationship with the characters present, so choose your words wisely.
After you have spoken, you will have the optional task of mingling and speaking with everyone at the service. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know other members of the Constellation better and possibly unlock future missions or opportunities. Characters such as Noel, Captain Vega, and Dr. Elara will have unique dialogues reflecting on the lost member and their significance to the crew and mission.
When you feel ready, you can conclude the mission by exiting the Lodge through the front door.
Tips and Tricks
Objectives
Wait for the Service (5 UT Days)
- Head upstairs and behind the bar area to your room in the Lodge.
- Go to the bed and choose to wait until the service

Attend the Memorial Service Today
- Once the wait is over you can go back downstairs to the main room. There will be members of Constellation gathered around a table.
- One of the members will say a few words. Wait for them to speak and they will ask you if you would also like to speak.
Say a Few Words
- Go up to the podium and select it to say a few words

- You can choose to walk around and speak to the members to hear what they have to say about the companion's death.
Leave When You're Ready
- When you are done speaking with the other members of Constellation, or if you just want to leave, go to the Lodge door and leave the building to complete the mission.
