Missed Beyond Measure is the mission 13 of Main Mission.
Walkthrough
As you navigate through the galaxy in Starfield, you'll be prompted by Noel to attend a memorial service for a fallen member of the Constellation faction. This mission, titled "Missed Beyond Measure," is optional, but serves as an excellent opportunity to deepen your ties with other characters in the game. The mission is time-sensitive and relies on the in-game clock.
If you're not currently engaged in any other time-sensitive quests, make your way back to the Lodge, your main hub and residence within the Constellation faction territory. Interact with your bed and choose to wait until the day of the service to skip the in-game time and start the mission immediately.
Upon waking, you'll note that you have 24 UT hours in-game to attend the memorial service. Make sure not to get sidetracked; otherwise, you'll miss the service and fail the mission. Exit your quarters and head toward the main hall of the Lodge. The atmosphere will be somber, with characters dressed in more formal attire than usual.
As the service begins, you'll find that it's a quiet affair, heartfelt and respectful. When prompted, you'll be asked to say a few words about the deceased Constellation member. You'll have several dialogue choices here, ranging from solemn and respectful to bitter and critical. Your choice will affect your relationship with the attending characters, so choose your words carefully.
Once you've spoken, you'll have an optional objective to mingle and speak with everyone at the service. This is a great chance to get to know some of the other members of the Constellation better, and perhaps unlock future missions or opportunities. Characters like Noel, Captain Vega, and Dr. Elara will have unique dialogues reflecting on the lost member and what they meant to the crew and mission.
When you feel you're ready, you can exit the mission by leaving the Lodge through the front door.
Tips and Tricks
Objectives
Wait for the Service (5 UT Days)
- Head upstairs and behind the bar area to your room in the Lodge.
- Go to the bed and choose to wait until the service

Attend the Memorial Service Today
- Once the wait is over you can go back downstairs to the main room. There will be members of Constellation gathered around a table.
- One of the members will say a few words. Wait for them to speak and they will ask you if you would also like to speak.
Say a Few Words
- Go up to the podium and select it to say a few words

- You can choose to walk around and speak to the members to hear what they have to say about the companion's death.
Leave When You're Ready
- When you are done speaking with the other members of Constellation, or if you just want to leave, go to the Lodge door and leave the building to complete the mission.
