Walkthrough
The mission "No Sudden Moves" begins as you conclude a conversation with Vladimir Sall at the station. Tips and Tricks
Objectives
Talk to Vladimir
- He'll inform you the Captain Petrov of the Scow has another one of the artifacts. Let Vladimir know when you're ready to go to the Scow - note that you will be locked to having Sarah as your companion until you complete this mission.
Board the Scow
- Travel to Procyon V-B in the "Procyon A" system.
- Find a way to board the Scow. There are several options you can choose to get on board.
- Hail the Ship:
- Player can pass a speech challenge to dock with the Scow peacefully. Failing this speech challenge makes The Scow hostile
- Sam Coe can speak to them if is set as one of your followers and he will trick the Scow to peacefully allow docking
- Barret can speak to them if he is set as one of your followers. If you choose this option, the Scow will become hostile.
- Attacking/Disabling the Engines - If you choose this option, the Scow guards will become hostile if you board the ship.
- Hail the Ship:
Find Captain Petrov
- Work your way through the maze of the Scow to Captain Petrov's room.
- There are multiple ways to gain access to the Gallery where the artifact is kept.
- When you meet Tao Xun, his level of hostility towards you will depend on how you boarded the ship. If he is hostile, you can complete a speech challenge to have the guards stand down and become peaceful.
- You will then meet Petrov.
- When you meet Petrov, you have several options:
- Choice 1: Convince Petrov to open the room for you.
- If you succeed, you can follow Petrov into the vault and enter areas peacefully if you are following Petrov
- He will then reveal the artifact to you after entering the vault.
- Choice 2: Fight Petrov and the Scow Guards to force your way into the Vault.
- You can attack Petrov at any time to take the Key from him. You will either be given the key or you can take it from his corpse.
- Once Petrov's HP is depleted and will beg for his life
- Player can force Petrov to tell his guards to stand down and become Peaceful
- Player can choose to let Petrov live or kill him
- Choice 3 Pickpocket the key from Petrov to enter the Vault without him.
- Choice 4: Break into the Vault by cutting into it.
- Choice 5: Release the Zoo Aliens by hacking the computer near the alien zoo,
- You can choose to release them immediately OR set them to be free after the ship becomes hostile.
- After being released, the aliens will attack the Scow guards and you. ?????
- Choice 1: Convince Petrov to open the room for you.
Steal the Artifact
- Steal the Artifact from Captain Petrov's gallery. If Petrov opened the gallery for you himself, you will be unable to convince him to sell you the Artifact and you will need to subdue him. Alternative methods, such as sneaking into the gallery, will still require you to steal the artifact rather than obtaining it legitimately. If you are seen stealing the artifact, the ship will become hostile.
- Captain Petrov will become hostile if you take the Artifact in front of him. Drop his health to zero and you'll be able to spare or kill him.
Leave the Scow
- Find your way out of the Scow. If you spare Petrov, the remaining guards on the ship will no longer attack you.
- If you had spared Captain Petrov, he'll notify the authorities and you'll be given a LUC bounty for your piracy after exiting the ship.
Add the Artifact to the Collection
- Travel back to the Lodge to add the new Artifact to the collection. Keep in mind that you will be apprehended if you have not cleared your LUC bounty.Your bounty can be cleared at any Bounty Clearance board.
- The quest will automatically complete after adding the Artifact and the follow-up mission "High Price to Pay" will be added.
