+The Normandy SR-2 is a starship that features prominently in the Mass Effect 2 video game. It was built in 2185 by Cerberus, a human-survivalist paramilitary group, to aid Commander Shepard and his team in their mission to stop the Collectors' galaxy-wide campaign of human abductions. The ship serves as the headquarters of the Lazarus Cell, a Cerberus cell dedicated to the revival and support of Commander Shepard.

Despite its increased size, the SR-2 retains the stealth characteristics of the SR-1.
