Invoking one's Inner Demon channels the player's ferocity and rage, unlocking their full combat potential for a short duration. This power induces a berserk state imbuing the player with dramatically increased damage and critical hit chance in hand-to-hand and melee combat. All restraint is lifted during this frenzied state, allowing relentless assault against enemies. However, the enhanced physical performance comes at the cost of reduced defense, as Inner Demon provides no damage mitigation. The player must quickly press their offensive advantage and wipe out enemies before accumulated injuries take their toll. Inner Demon is best used either when the player has the element of surprise or as a last stand when gravely outmatched. It allows bringing one's foes down in an unrelenting storm of violence.
