When activated, Reactive Shield surrounds the player with an invisible barrier of magical force that automatically reacts to block incoming attacks from any direction, preventing direct harm to the player. Any physical damage, whether from melee weapons, projectiles, explosions, or creatures, is absorbed by the shield as long as it holds. However, the shield's strength is finite and each impact depletes it further until penetration or complete failure. Reactive Shield mitigates threat, buying the player precious time. It allows maneuvering through withering enemy fire or standing toe-to-toe with powerful creatures while their attacks glace off harmlessly. Players can wait out the enemy's onslaught or retaliate from the safety of the barrier. But once the shield finally fails, the player is fully vulnerable again. The shield quickly regenerates when not under fire, allowing it to protect against intermittent attacks.
