Further Into the Unknown is the mission 8 of Main Mission.
Walkthrough
As soon as you're back at the Lodge, make your way to Vladimir. He's got intel on a couple of new artifact locations that could be pivotal in understanding the unfolding mysteries. Your chat with him will provide you with two random locations for artifact retrieval. Keep in mind that these locations are randomly generated for each playthrough, so don't expect the same terrain or challenges you might have encountered before.
Next, you'll want to set course for the two artifact locations. The sequence in which you approach them is entirely up to you. Upon arriving at these locations, your main objective is straightforward: find and secure the Artifacts. However, this time you have a twist to contend with—Starborn enemies who possess the capability to turn invisible for short periods while launching their attacks. They add a stealthy layer of complexity to your mission, but don't panic. These elusive enemies can be located using your scanner, which is a handy tool to keep ready as you navigate the locations.
Having obtained both Artifacts, your next order of business is to add them to your ever-growing collection at the Lodge. Navigate back there and interact with the pedestal specially designed for artifact display. As you place the Artifacts, Matteo will automatically engage you in conversation. Feel free to answer him in whatever manner suits your role-playing style; it won't affect the mission's outcome but might influence your relationship dynamics with Matteo or other companions.
Lastly, you'll need to circle back to Vladimir for a debriefing. This conversation serves as a conclusion to your artifact-hunting escapades for now and marks the completion of the mission, Further Into the Unknown in Starfield.
