Piloting is a Tier (1 - Novice) Tech Skill. It is the starting skill for the Background Bounty Hunter.

Description	As more people journey into space, the number of those certified to effectively pilot various types of spacecraft has increased dramatically.
Rank 1	Your ship's maximum speed is increased by 10%.
Rank 2	Your ship's maximum speed is increased by 20%.
Rank 3	Your ship's maximum speed is increased by 30%.
Rank 4	It will now take longer for you to be spotted by enemy ships.
Challenge 1	Evade combat in space for 120 seconds.
Challenge 2	Evade combat in space for 300 seconds.
Challenge 3	Evade combat in space for 600 seconds.
